On the"Soviet(Russian)School"of Scientific Historiography
As for the controversy between"internalism"and"extemalism"of scientific historiography appeared in the 20th century,either of the two can explain the phenomenon of scientific development to a certain extent,but they are too extreme,and have shortcomings in understanding scientific develop-ment.While the school of"synthesis theory"in the Russian academia,based on three representatives of the Institute of the History of Science and Tech-nology of the Russian Academy of Sciences,shows a different academic perspective with its dialectical concept,target and characteristics.It has profound influence on the academic circle in understanding the scientific achievements,scientific activities and scientific value in different historical periods.
