As an important component of dialectics of nature,Science,Technology and Society(STS)has been developing in China for decades and has become one of the most dynamic disciplines in the field of dialectics of nature.In order to further promote the academic prosperity and disciplinary devel-opment of STS in China,the historical process of the development of STS discipline in China is first sorted out,the theoretical system of STS discipline in China is summarized,the existing problems of STS discipline in China are analyzed,and the construction principles of STS discipline in China are pointed out,which can provide theoretical support and implementation paths for building a Science,Technology and Society(STS)discipline system,academic system,and discourse system with Chinese characteristics in the new era.
