摘要
《科学思想史》一书遵循"综合论"研究纲领,以科学史为基础,沿着"自然观变革、方法论创新与科学革命"的主线,系统地呈现不同历史阶段的"大写的科学的革命",能够应对"吉尔挑战"."大写的"和"小写的"科学革命的内涵和区别是明确的,其演进模式和范式变革不同于库恩的科学革命理论.对不同历史阶段所发生的"大写的科学革命"的概括——"神学式科学""哲学式科学""机械式科学""有机式科学""地方性科学",是恰当的.
Abstract
The book A History of Scientific Thought:The Scientific Revolutions Based on the Reforms of Nature-Views and Methodologies adheres to the re-search framework of"Synthesis"rooted in the history of science,following the thread of"Reforms of Nature-Views,Innovations in Methodologies,and Scientific Revolutions",and it systematically presents"The Great Scientific Revolution(s)"of different historical stages capable of addressing"Giere's Challenge".The connotations and distinctions between"Great"and"Small"scientific revolution are clear,and their evolutionary patterns and paradigm shifts differ from Kuhn's theory of scientific revolutions.The summary of"Great Scientific Revolutions"that occurred in different historical stages—"Theological Science""Philosophical Science""Mechanical Science""Organic Science"and"Local Science"—is appropriate.
