The Necessity and Feasibility of Emergency Ethics:Viewed from the Perspective of Future Philosophy
Every significant breakthrough in technological development in human history has brought corresponding ethical issues.New technologies such as AGI and ASI,due to their self-generative,self-creative,and autonomous nature,can pose even higher risks and extreme destructiveness when mis-used.As the potential of a"smart bomb"hidden within may threaten the entire sky,pushing humanity to the brink of a critical era,it has become neces-sary to rapidly conduct research on emergency ethics."Emergency ethics"refers to the ethical anticipation and responses to sudden,accidental,and ur-gent situations.Its theoretical foundation is coexistence theory,which abandons the conformism of ethical norms and even the monistic ontology,providing an ethical methodology for addressing"emergency states".From the perspective of future philosophy,initiating emergency ethics education,optimizing e-mergency ethics governance concepts,conducting emergency ethics training,and awakening collaborative emergency response to practice emergency eth-ics,can help us rethink the importance of ethics in emergencies and reaffirm that only future-oriented ethical theories and emergency governance can help humanity navigate through survival crises.
