知识论探究性转向与反复检验
The Zetetic Turn in Epistemology and Incessant Checking

摘要
当代知识论中出现了名为"探究性转向"的新观点,主张以探究性理论取代传统的知识论研究范式.弗里德曼认为反复检验行为的认知不合理性在于探究行为中存在不合理的信念态度,此方案尽管相比主流观念具有优点,但难以成立并且有悖于探究性转向的自身观点.反复检验需要一种更加符合探究性转向逻辑的解释方案,这类行为的不合理性并不在于检验主体在探究过程中"相信"或"暂停判断"的态度违背认知规范,而是在于主体缺失了对检验行为的合理反思.
Abstract
In contemporary epistemology,some scholars put forward a new perspective called"the zetetic turn".Friedman argues that the epistemic irra-tionality of incessant checking lies in the presence of irrational doxastic attitudes in the inquiry process.Although this solution has advantages over the ma-instream view,it is difficult to establish and contrary to the zetetic turn's own viewpoint.Finally,this paper proposes a better explanation of incessant checking than Friedman's view,argues that the irrationality lies in the subject's lack of rational reflection on the act of checking.
