To solve the application problem of regenerative CO2 technology based on solid amine in portable life support systems,a performance study on solid amine in CO2 removal was carried out.The breakthrough tests of solid amine adsorbing CO2 at different adsorption temperature, inlet CO2 concentrations and gas flow rates were carried out,and the corresponding breakthrough curves were obtained. The Wheeler equation was used to fit the breakthrough curve, the corresponding fitting e-quation and results such as the equilibrium adsorption capacity were obtained. The results showed that the Wheeler equation could accurately describe the behavior of solid amine adsorbing CO2,the linear relationship equation between breakthrough time and gas flow rate were obtained when the CO2 breakthrough rates were 10%and 50%,respectively.The equation can be applied to predict the performance of solid amine reactor, switching period, etc.,which will greatly simplify the testing of reactor performance evaluation.
