The duststorm disaster in China and its research progress
The duststorm disaster is a result of the interaction between the atmosphere boundary dynamics and sandy surface,influenced strongly by the climate condition,especially by wind regime and the vegetation coverage of surface sediments.The duststorm occurring frequently is now becoming an important sign of degradation of ecological environment in the Northern China,which threatens the life of human being and livestock,causes heavy wind erosion and air pollution.Therefore,it is very urgent to enhance the duststorm research in China.
