Cold-wave resistance serviceability analysis of the buried municipal water distribution system
A method of cold-wave resistance serviceability analysis of the buried municipal water distribution system is proposed.Considering the influence of cold-wave temperature change on the temperature stress of water pipeline and the frozen stress of the soil around the pipeline, the water distribution system model with pipeline joint leakage is established, and the first-order second-moment method is used to calculate the cold-wave resistance serviceability of the water distribution system.Taking one water distribution system as an example, the serviceability of the water distribution system under the blue, yellow, orange and red cold-wave warning is presented respectively. The study shows that, the cold-wave temperature change has a significant impact on the serviceability of buried municipal water distribution system, and code-wave intensity, pipeline joint, and network topology are important factors affecting the serviceability of buried municipal water distribution system. The study may have certain reference value for the hazard resistance design of buried municipal water distribution system.
