Analysis of the Factors of the Land Use Decision-making of Households' Based on a Multi-level Model——A Case Study of Gaoxigou village, Mizhi County, Shaanxi Province
The driving forces of land use change are always the focus of the problems which scholars are interested in and the changes of the driving forces of land use change in different scales are becoming the center attention by scholars. This paper took Gaoxigou village, Mizhi County, Shaanxi Province as an example. The data we used including aerial interpretation, topographic map data and the actual measurement data and household surveys data which we acquired in the summer vacation of 2009. This paper tries to reveal driving factors change mechanism in different scales from the micro level of land use changes based on the software of HLM6. 07(student) and multi-level model from the plot to the household land. The results show that: (1) The decision-making behavior of households' growing potatoes and rice crop were major drivered by the natural factors of plot and the social and economic factors of households. (2)The factors of farmers behavior of decision-making to plant potatoes or millet were different. (3) Multi-level model is appropriate to analyze the factors of the households' land-use decision-making in the micro-scale and meso-scale. It not only lays the foundation to further build the three layers model of affecting households' land-use decision-making in the micro-scale (plot), meso-scale (households), the macro-scale (village), but also provides a way to study the mechanism of the land use decision-making.
