Research on the coordinated evaluation relationship between new urbanization and green development in China
Under the dual-carbon goal,the coordinated evolution of new urbanization and green development is of great significance in promoting China's high-quality economic de-velopment.This paper analyzes the characteristics and types of spatial and temporal pat-terns of the coordinated evolution of new urbanization and green development in 30 prov-inces(autonomous regions and municipalities)in China from 2005 to 2020 by using entro-py method,coupled coordination model and other research methods.The results show that:(1)Both new urbanization and green development levels present a growth pattern.(2)The coordination degree of China's new urbanization and green development generally shows an upward trend;the spatial distribution of the coordination level generally shows a decreas-ing pattern from the eastern and central regions of the country to the western and northeast-ern regions.(3)The coordinated evolution is characterized by significant spatial agglomera-tion,and dominated by HH,LL and HL types.(4)The center of gravity of coordinated evo-lution shows a trend of migration from northeast to southwest.(5)The coordinated develop-ment types are divided into"urbanization first","green development first"and"synchro-nous development",of which"urbanization first"is the most dominant and important type.Countermeasures are proposed for provincial-level regions with different types of coordi-nated development,which will continue to help the coordinated evolution of new urbaniza-tion and green development.
