Research on the characteristics of household waste classification for typical groups in universities and suggestions for management systems
With the continuous increasing promotion on waste classification,the waste classification in colleges and its effect receive more and more attention.How to carry out waste classification and management in colleges is a key issue.Research project was carried out in a university in Guangdong Province,and campus personnel was divided into three typical groups:students,staffs,and logistics workers.Data was collected through questionnaire surveys and on-site visits,and principal component analysis was used to analyze waste classification characteristics of three typical groups.The results of principal component analysis indicated that the most important influencing factors on students,faculty and logistics respectively,which were the effect of waste classification in school,the daily life habit of bagging and disposing of waste generated,and approved punishment for waste unclassified or not.Based on the results above and on-site visits,suggestions are proposed for waste classification management system in colleges.
