Waste classification is a reform to the traditional way of waste collection and disposal.It is a scientific method of"reduction,resourcefulness,and harmlessness" on waste,and is a "new fashion" vigorously promoted by the country.Waste classification had been generally promoted nationwide,but the universities have relatively lagged behind in carrying out waste classification work due to their own characteristics,a series of problems arise,especially in the management system and effectiveness evaluation.In this paper,data collection and research were carried out and analyzed on the characteristics of waste classification work in universities.Finally,a set of evaluation system for waste classification management in universities was proposed to guide the implementation and progress of waste classification work in universities,so as to push the construction of ecological civilization and harmonious campuses.
