On the Predicament and Outlet of New Rural Novels——Take Fu Xiuying's Mo Shang and Ye Wang as Research Points
The countryside has undergone structural changes since the new century,and the new local literature came into being in the period of accelerated development of China's modernization process.On the one hand,the new rural reality needs the timely response of rural writers,on the other hand,it brings great challenges to contemporary writers to write about coun-tryside.Although the new rural literature is an effort made by the writer to adapt to the drastic changes in the countryside,the predicament still exists obviously in the present situation of rural novels.As a representative rural writer at present,Fu Xiuying constructs a"Fang Village"with a fresh and simple style in her novels Mo Shang and Ye Wang.She depicts a unique genre painting and landscape painting,describes the hidden spiritual world of"Fang Village people",and reveals the changes in people's hearts under the new rural reality.To some extent,it provides breakthrough ideas for the development of new rural novels.At the same time,the lack of new image building and the lack of ideal writing in her works should arise the attention of rural writers including Fu Xiuying.
