On Chinese Style Love"Emotion"——Taking the Peony Pavilion,Ivory Ring,and Red Mist as Examples
Although love is a set of words or symbols invented by the West,the love between men and women that existed in ancient China is actually an inseparable part of this prehistoric history of love.From the interpretation of the three texts of The Peony Pavilion,The Ivory Ring and The Red Mist,it can be seen that our form of love focuses not on love desire but on feeling desire.In other words,what we truly care about is never love——an altruistic emotion,but only emotion,which is what our own heart needs.Even in the era of modern love enlightenment,we have been influenced by Western love ideology and have never undergone substantial changes.The fact is,only by consciously shifting from the"feeling"of love to the"love"of love,and attempting the sublime experience of dedication,can we inject the blood of spirit or soul into the life of love,so that the pursuit of true love is no longer entangled with the illusions of nothingness and death.
