In the competitive literary market,fast collaborative translation and publication enhance a work's competitiveness.Collaborative translation's challenges include stylistic and content consistency with the source text,as well as effective collaboration among translators.Using Anna Holmhood and Gigi Chang's collaborative translation of volume three of The Legend of the Condor Heroes as a case study,focusing on Lotus Huang and Guo Jing's characters,this study explores how translators achieve unity in their translation.The findings reveal that both translators maintain translation quality by aligning with their initial and professional habitus.Their collaborative translation process emphasizes the value of cooperation and discussion,offering insights for future collaborative translation practices in Chinese literature.
