The myth of"Sigangli",which has been passed down from generation to generation in Cangyuan,Yunnan,and the historical narrative of"descendants of the Han Dynasty"that reflects the spirit of patriotism and border protection,contain cultural genes that forge strong sense of community for Chinese nation.Sense of community for Chinese nation of Cangyuan's offspring of all ethnic groups was generated in political affiliation,precipitated in economic exchanges,condensed in cultural identity,tempered in resisting foreign aggression in modern times,and sublimated through socialist construction under the leadership of the CPC.An in-depth analysis of the historical process of communication,exchange,and integration among various ethnic groups in Cangyuan,Yunnan,as well as the evolution of the spirit of patriotism and border protection,will help to build a shared spiritual home for the Chinese nation in the practice of the new era.
