Sorting and Research on Cotton Journals in Modern China
By searching and sorting out the statistical sources of cotton journals in modern China,the statistical data were obtained and analyzed,including the distribution of the first time,amount,publisher and publishing place of journals.Some important journals were introduced,and their features and functions were discussed.According to statistics,there were 74 kinds of cotton journals in modem China,and the amount of publication showed a tortuous development trend.The publisher included official institutions,professional organizations,schools,enterprises,academic groups and journal societies,and the publishing places were 15 regions such as Shanghai and Jiangsu.It is concluded that the publication amount of journals in modern China is superior,the publication content covers all cotton aspects,forming the publishing power of cotton journals with the joint efforts of various institutions,publishing areas of national cotton journals are mostly in Shanghai and Jiangsu,and regional cotton journals are widely distributed.They have made positive contributions to the development of China's modem cotton industry.The collation and analysis provide material for the study of modem Chinese agricultural history,textile history and publishing history.
