It is presented a brief introduction on the concepts of generalized symmetry and various types of generalized symmetry.The main part of the note gives a detailed presentation on the subjects of generalization from ordinary symmetry to higher form symmetry,the higher form symmetry,the higher form symmetry in Maxwell theory,the spontaneously broken of one form symmetry and photon as its Goldstone excitation as well as the rephrasing of the confining problem in terms of spontaneously broken of one form symmetry.
