The recent changes and development trend of wheat production in Bohai low plain area were reviewed.Under the demand of underground water restriction at present,the wheat production mode,cultivation system,application technology will be changed radically.On the basis of ensuring the total wheat production,water limiting cultivation and rainfed cultivation should be the way to realize high wheat yield and high water use efficiency.At the general background of freshwater resource serious lack,wheat industry technology demand model in Bohai low plain area was put forward.
