Preliminary Analysis of the Production Advantages and the Key Techniques of Machine-Harvested Ratooning Rice in Dongting Lake Area
Based on the investigation and analysis of the production model of mechanical-harvested regenerated rice in Xiangyin County from 2016 to 2020,and the comparison with the double-cropping rice production model,it was found that the machine-regenerated rice has the advantages of stabilizing grain yield,saving cost and increasing efficiency,improving rice quality,adjusting seasonal contradictions and protecting ecological environment,etc.This research introduced in de-tail.the supporting techniques for high-yield cultivation in Dongting Lake,such as selection of good varieties and fertile fields,timely early sowing,cultivation of strong seedlings,reasonable close planting,three fixed fertilization,scientific water management,disease and insect control,timely harvesting,etc.,and analyzed the problems existing in the current develop-ment of regenerated rice in the process of variety application and innovation,machine harvest,policy support,and put for-ward suggestions.
