In order to promote the reduction,recycling and harmless treatment of coal gangue and fly ash solid waste,ten ministries and commissions including the National Development and Reform Commission have put forward the"Guiding Opinions on the Comprehensive Utilization of Bulk Solid Waste in the 14th Five-Year Plan".To this end,the application status and research and innovation achievements of coal gangue and fly ash,the first of the six major solid wastes,in wall materials in China are briefly summarized and analyzed.
