Study on effect of modified polypropylene fiber on performance of cement mortar
The polypropylene fiber is modified by the coating modification method,and the effect of the modified fiber on the mechanical properties of cement mortar is studied.The test results show that when the content of modified polypropylene fiber is 0.6%,the strength of the sample reaches its peak,and its 3d and 28d flexural strength and compressive strength are 4.34MPa,7.62MPa,22.14MPa and 43.25MPa,respectively,which are 9.05%,8.24%,15.61%and 10.19%higher than that of the unmixed fiber sample B1.SEM is used to observe the microscopic morphology of the polypropylene fiber surface and the fracture morphology of the sample,and the reinforcement mechanism of the modified polypropylene fiber on the cement mortar sample is discussed.
