Application of infrared thermal imaging and visible light diagnostic technology in murals of Fahai Temple in Beijing and research on protective and restoration materials
In this paper, infrared thermal imaging and visible light diagnostic technology are used to obtain the information of hollowing and cracking disease of the murals in the Shakya Mani Hall of Fahai Temple in Bei-jing.At the same time, the reinforcement and repair material technology of the ground layer for the cracking disease of the ancient building murals is researched. The results show that the tensile bond strength and com-pressive strength are on the rise with the increase of red clay content in the study of the optimized mix ratio of mural plaster layer; At the age of 90 days, the tensile bonding strength of the test block with hemp knife fiber reached 13.26×10-2 MPa,and the compressive strength reached 2.14MPa.The tensile bonding strength of the test block with glass fiber reached 11.15×10-2 MPa,and the compressive strength reached 1.93 MPa.By studying the optimization ratio of materials for the protection and repair of the mural base layer,it provides a basis and support for the scientific and preventive protection and repair of the murals in Fahai Temple.
