By comparing and analyzing the technical application and development characteristics of traditional concrete materials and foam concrete,sorting out the representative building product types of engineering ap-plication of foam concrete materials,and comprehensively analyzing the product performance characteristics and application requirements according to the existing standard system,the performance analysis and applica-tion discussion of foam concrete blocks,cast-in-place concrete walls,foam cement insulation boards and pre-fabricated composite wall technologies are carried out respectively,and the engineering application precau-tions are pointed out. Suggestions are put forward in three aspects:conducting modification research according to local conditions,consuming local solid waste resources as additives,and developing new integrated compos-ite technology systems for building insulation and decoration structures. It is suggested to improve the univer-sality of application in cold and severe cold areas in the north.
