Screening of entomopathogenic nematodes with high virulence to Anomala corpulenta
In order to screen the strains of entomopathogenic nematodes that have effective bio-control potential against Anomala corpulenta larvae, the virulence of nine entomopathogenic nematodes strains against the 1st instar of A.corpulenta was determined and the effects of nematodes under different infection doses, ambient temperature and soil humidity were measured. The results showed that Heterorhabditis beicherriana D26-6 had the highest virulence against the A.corpulenta, and the corrected mortality reached 98.3%on the 11th day after infection. The single factor determination of the virulence of nematode D26-6 showed that the best optimal dose, temperature and soil humidity of infecting A.corpulenta larvae were 150 IJs/individual,20-30℃ and 18%,respectively.H.beicherriana D26-6 has a good potential for beetle pests controlling.
