Transfer regularity of Carposina sasakii in orchards in desert oasis ecological area of southern Xinjiang
In order to clarify occurrence and transfer regularity of Carposina sasakii in different hosts, the main occurrence area of C.sasakii in the desert ecoregion of southern Xinjiang during 2021-2022 was investigated.C.sasakii adults were monitored with sex attractors and armyworm panels, the distribution of overwintering cocoon, and the regularity of larval damage in orchards of each host in 2021 was investigated. The results showed that the emergence peak of the overwintering generation of C.sasakii in Xinjiang was concentrated in late June to early July, and the peak of the first generation of adults was in mid-August.The larvae of the first generation were most harmful in the peach orchard, and the larvae of the overwintering generation were most harmful in the red date orchard. The occurrence of C.sasakii was closely related to the phenological period of host plants. The overwintering larvae concentrated in the jujube orchard, and the overwintering adults spread to other host orchards to lay eggs according to the phenological period of host plants.
