Comparision of effect of four methods for the virus-free of BBWV and TuMV viruses in Pseudostellaria heterophylla
The effects of four methods,including microstem tip culture,low temperature(2-4℃)treatment combined with microstem tip culture,ultra-low temperature(-196℃)culture and embryo culture,on the virus-free of broad bean wilt virus(BBWV)and turnip mosaic virus(TuMV)from Pseudostellaria heterophylla'Zheshen No.1'were compared.The results showed that the survival rate of P.heterophylla was 64.7%,and the virus-free rates of BBWV and TuMV were 63.6%and 31.8%,respectively,using low temperature treatment combined with micro-stem tip culture.The survival rate of embryo culture was 56.7%,and the virus-free rate of BBWV and TuMV was 100%.P.heterophylla mosaic virus TuMV is more difficult to remove than BBWV.
