First report on damage caused by Listroderes difficilis to seedlings tobacco in China
Recently,damage symptom was found on seedling tobacco leaves in the greenhouse in Xingren city of Qianxinan of Guizhou province.Our investigation indicated that the damage was caused by an unknown weevil pest,which has not been reported previously.The damaged symptom of tobacco leaves caused by this pest was described.Based on CO Ⅰ fragment sequence,the pest was identified as Listroderes difficilis Germain.Morphology characteristics of L.difficilis,its host plants and distributions,biological characteristics and damage and the control measures were described,which will provide references for recognition and management of L.difficilis.
