Objective: To explore the effects of bundled care intervention to the prognosis of the neonatal mechanical ventilation. Methods: 106 neonatus with mechanical ventilation in NICU were divided into obvervation group (56 cases) and control group( 50 cases). The obvervation group was received bundled care intervention and the control was received conventional care. The time and complication of neonatal mechanical ventilation were compared between the two groups. Results: The mechanical ventilation time and the incidence rate of ventilator-associated pneumonia(VAP) in observation group were lower than the control group (P<0.05). The incidence rates of pneumorrhagia, pneumothorax, intracranial hemorrhages, neonatal necrotizing enteroolitis in the observation group were lower tnan that in the control group, though they were not significant differet(P>0.05). Conclusion: Bundled care intervention could significantly reduce the time and complication of neonatal mechanical ventilation. It could improve the prognosis in neonatal mechanical ventilation.
