Objective: to discuss the influence of community intervention on patients’compliance, rate of sputum negativity and the cure rate. Methods: 106 patients with tuberculosis were divided randomly into two groups: intervention group and control group. Two groups were treated with regular anti-tuberculosis treatment. Meanwhile, patients in intervention group were also treated with community nursing intervention. Results: intervention group were better than control group on the rate of compliance of regular, whole medication, review on a regular basis, and regular life. There were the same results on the rate of sputum negativity and the cure rate. Conclusions: curative effects of the patients with chemotherapy out-of-hospital can be elevated dramatical y through intervention nursing intervention. The key of elevating the curative rate were to strengthen the health education, to promote patients to abide by consciously.
