objective: to study the clinical curative effect of combining traditional Chinese and western medicine treatment of breast cancer. Selection methods: October 2011 -October 2012 in our hospital treated 68 cases of breast cancer patients, randomly divided into observation group and the control group (n = 34), the control group given pure western medicine treatment, the observation group was given combined Chinese and western medicine treatment, compared two groups of patients with clinical prognosis. Results: after 14 to 26 months fol ow-up, observation of postoperative local recurrence rate was 11.76%, the distant metastasis rate was 2.94%; The control of postoperative local recurrence rate was 32.35%, the distant metastasis rate was 14.71%. Observation group of postoperative local recurrence and distant metastasis rate were significantly lower than the control group, with significant difference, P < 0.05, with statistical significance. Conclusion: for patients with breast cancer to combine traditional Chinese and western medicine treatment, the effect, can significantly improve the prognosis and reduce the risk of postoperative recurrence and metastasis, worthy of clinical use.
