objective: to observe and research on the combination of acupuncture with medicine in the treatment of stroke sequela clinical outcomes of patients with hemiplegia. Methods: 180 patients with stroke sequela were randomly divided into our hospital: acupuncture control group and drug control group and the combination of acupuncture with medicine treatment group, 60 cases each. Three groups were respectively on the basis of conventional western medicine treatment of traditional Chinese medicine therapy, acupuncture treatment and combination of acupuncture with medicine treatment, under the single blind method to treat three groups of patients, and observe the curative effect after a month. Results: three groups of patients limb function before and after therapy were improved, the combination of acupuncture with medicine treatment group was significantly better than two comparison groups before and after treatment to improve the level. Conclusion: needle medicine binding energy and effective treatment for hemiplegia after a stroke, its curative effect is significantly higher than drugs or pure acupuncture treatment, shows obvious advantages of combination of acupuncture with medicine.
