Objective: clinical analysis and discussion on elderly patients with burns. Methods: the clinical study mainly in our hospital in June 2012 to June 2013 were 45 cases of elderly patients with burns as the object. Implement targeted therapy for al patients, and treatment situation were analyzed. Results: clinical research, according to the results of 45 cases of elderly burn after treatment, 40 patients were cured and 2 patients died, there are three patients give up treatment. The main cause of death and give up treatment including age, severe burns, and economic ability is limited, etc. Conclusion: the clinical research results show that the complications in elderly patients with burns type is more, and the condition is complex, the fatality rate is high, physicians need to strengthen the patients before the treatment of diseases, and strengthen the treatment of wounds, to protect viscera and implement nutrition support for patients, so as to improve the survival rate of patients.
