Objective: To investigate the correlation of hepatic hydatid cyst excision and routine excision of internal capsule recurrence probability. Methods: in 2009 March to 2012 March, we treated 80 patients with hydatid cyst of liver disease, were randomly divided into two groups, liver hydatid disease complete resection in 40 cases for the observation group, routine excision of internal capsule in 40 cases as control group. Results: Patients with intraoperative blood loss compared with the control group, the amount of bleeding was significantly higher, there are significant differences P<0.05; two groups of patients with operation time, hospitalization time, no significant difference (P > 0.05). The observation group comparison, groups of patients with postoperative complications were significantly less, there are significant differences P<0.05. 1 cases without recurrence of the patients in the observation group, the recurrence rate was lower than that of the control group of 15%, there are significant differences P<0.05. Conclusion: hepatic hydatid disease complete excision and routine excision of internal capsule can reduce complications, liver hydatid cyst disease postoperative recurrence rate, worthy of clinical application.
