Objective: To investigate the correlation factors of the clinical progression of benign prostatic hyperplasia. Methods: a retrospective analysis of the clinical data of 125 cases of benign prostatic hyperplasia patients in our hospital from 2010 January to 2012 January were analyzed. Results: the risk of clinical progression of benign prostatic hyperplasia factors were age, serum PSA, prostate volume, maximum urine flow rate, residual urine volume and IPSS score. After treatment, IPSS score ranged from 25 to 35 accounted for about 69.6% of the more than 41.6% before treatment, there are significant differences P<0.05. Conclusion: benign prostatic hyperplasia is a chronic progressive disease, more clinical risk factors of progressive, therefore should monitor and control the risk factors, reduce the incidence of BPH, improve the quality of life of older men.
