To discuss the effective method for the treatment of auricle burn in childrenthrough the treatment experience of 44 cases so as to improve curative rate and reduce disability rate. Methods In the early period, iodophor and sulfadiazine silver were used for exposed treatment to prevent auralregion compression and remain intact of eschar. In the late period, the patients were treated by bandaging method, granulation tissue culturation and skin grafting. Results Al the cases were cured, the shapes of 43 patients ears were satisfying, but one case was part lack of helix. Conclusions Auricle burn in children is likely to have auricular chondritis. Timely and correct wound management and nursing, and proper concrol ing of infection can effectively prevent and reduce the incidence of auricular chondritis.
