Lipoblastoma and lipoblastomatosis is a rare kind of benign soft tissue tumors for children. Jaffe was the first to use in 1924. Lipoblastoma was described as solid tumors of immature fat cel s. Vel ios, etc. used it to define a newborn new creatures in the benign fatty tissues in 1958. More cases ware reported subsequently and sumed up its biological behavior characteristics. Tumor confined to localization cal lipoblastoma; and those infiltrating to the surrounding tissue cal lipoblastomatosis [1]. This paper reports 2 cases of lipoblastoma by exploring its clinical manifestations, histological morphology, immunophenotype and differential diagnosis, thus to promoting awareness of this rare tumor to avoid misdiagnosis.
