Objective: To investigate the clinical effect of standard large trauma craniotomy in the treatment of severe craniocerebral injury.Methods: 51 cases of routine craniectomy operation treatment group analysis of 2000 January to 2002 severe craniocerebral injury in De cember, clinical data of 55 cases of standard large trauma craniotomy in treatment of 106 cases of 2010 January to 2012 December in severe craniocerebral injury. Results: according to GOS classification standard of discharge, 55 cases, 11 cases of GOS Ⅰ,Ⅱ- 15 cases in grade Ⅲ, Ⅳ-Ⅴ29 cases, control group 51 cases, 17 cases of GOS Ⅰ, Ⅱ-Ⅲ grade 19 cases, 15 cases of Ⅳ-Ⅴ,there is significant difference between the two groups. Conclusion: the standard large trauma craniotomy is effective for the treatment of severe craniocerebral injury.
