To evaluate the clinical diagnosic value of anti-cyclic citrul inated peptide(anti-CCP) antibody and rheumatoid factor(RF) in patients with rheumatoid arthritis(RA)
Objective: To evaluate the clinical diagnosic value of anti-cyclic citrul inated peptide(anti-CCP) antibody and rheumatoid factor(RF) in patients with rheumatoid arthritis(RA). Methods: Anti-CCP antibody was defected by quantitative ELISA and rheumatoid factor by BNP nephelometer in 130 cases of RA, 98 cases of non-RA rheumatic diseases and 40 cases of healthy individuals. Results: The diagnosis specificity, positive predictive value, positive/negative likelihood ratios of combinate determination of anti-CCP antibody and RF were significantly higher than either one. Conclusion: The measurements of anti-CCP antibody and rheumatoid factor wil remarkably improve the accuracy of diagnosis of RA.
