objective: to observe the clinical effect of modified right-side colon resection for colon cancer. Methods: choose in June 2011 to February 2011, our hospital of right half colon cancer patients, 82 cases of hospitalized (including back blind cancer, colon cancer and transverse colon liver cancer), randomly divided into observation group and control group, observation group modified right half colon resection, the control group with traditional right colon resection. Observe and compare the two group of patients with operation time, intraoperative blood loss, and the forward curative effect. Results: postoperative observation group, the average survival rate was 70.7%, the control group was 50.5%, in addition, the operation time, intraoperative blood loss, etc., observation group were significantly better than the control group, the difference was statisticaly significant, P < 0.05). Conclusion: the improved effect of intraoperative right-side colon resection and the forward curative effect is superior to the traditional right half colon resection, can significantly reduce the postoperative recurrence rate and improve prognosis.
