Objective:This study was performed to evaluate the clinical experience and effect about treatment of mitral regurgitation with annuloplasty ring. Metheds:From April 2011 to December 2013,25 patients (including 11 male patients and 14 female patients )with moderate or severe mitral regurgitation received plastic operation.The average age was 52±4. 1years(range 18~65 years).Prolapse of leaflet came from degeneration of elastic fibers,chordal rupture and chordal elongation was presented in 17 patients.Other causes of mitral regurgitation were congenital mitral insufficiency(3 patients) and infective endocarditis(5 patients).The concomitant disease included atrial fibrilation in 13 patients, moderate or severe tricuspid regurgitation in 11 patients. Result:During the felow up of 1 to 30 months(15.2±13.6),al patients survived.Significant aleviation of mitral regurgitation was observed in al patients after procedure as compared with preoperative data.Echo showed the diminution of left atrial diameter and left ventricular end diastolic diameter, augmentation of ejection fraction, improvement of cardiac function among these patients.Conclusion:The application of annuloplasty ring in mitral annuloplasty has less complication and stable clinical results.This surgical technique without long-term anticoagulation is good to patient with mitral regurgitation.
