Objective To research the efficiency of continious negative pressure drainage in the cases of trau-matic surgery.Methods Continious negative pressure drainage was applied in 11 cases of severe infectious wounds.Results After5to7days continious negative pressure drainage,3patients were cicatrized by suturing or skin-graft-ing.In8case,the wound was shalow enough to be cured by normal dressing-change after the materials of continious negative pressure drainage were changed3-6times(once per5to7days).Conclusion Continious negative pressure drainage is easy to drain exudate and necrosis completely,and the pipe is rarely blocked.The drainage is in favor of improving local microcirculation,decreasing local tissue edema,stimulating the growth of granulation tissue,and accel-erating the procedure of wound healing.
