Impact of the different preservation for the detection of serum HCV RNA using FQ-RT-PCR
Objective To investigate the impact of various storage conditions of serum samples on HCV RNA detection.Methods Twenty examples of hepatitis C patients were preserved at six different condition and detected by Real-time fluorenscent quantitative PCR. Results The results of HCV RNA in serum samples which were preserved 1 day and 1 week at room temperature,4℃and -20℃ showed no significant difference. Conclusion Preserved temperature and preserved time have no effect on test results.
