Clinical application of skeletal traction needle enclosed observation care
Objective: To analyze the effect of closed skeletal traction needle care. Methods: Hospital in 2011 and 2012 to implement bone 100 cases were randomly divided into observation group traction (50 cases) and control group (50 cases), the observation group iodine disinfection treatments like traction bone needle, and use the Y-sterile gauze protection of needle position; the control group using traditional alcohol disinfection. Contrast two needle infection and pain. Results: The bacterial culture positive patients in the observation group (6%), redness, discharge phenomenon accounted for 4%; bacterial culture positive control group, 28%, redness, discharge phenomenon accounted for 30%, significantly lower than the eye of a needle infection control patients , comparing the differences between the two groups was statisticaly significant (P <0.05); degree of pain patients in the observation group was significantly lower than the control group of patients, with statistical significance (P <0.05) comparing the differences between the two groups. Conclusion: The use of closed skeletal traction needle care, can effectively reduce the eye of a needle infection, reduce pain, should be widely applied.
