objective: to analysis of sevoflurane and propofol for pediatric burn the maintenance of anesthesia effect. Methods: col ected from June 2012 - June 2013 during the diagnosis and treatment of burn patients 58 cases as the research object, adopt the way of randomized patients divided into observation group and control group, patients in each group (n= 29). Sevoflurane maintain anesthesia, the observation group with the control group maintain anesthesia with propofol, to analyze the clinical effect of two groups of patients. Results:the results showed that both groups of children without waking vomiting happens, observation group of the patient's orientation force recovery time, spontaneous breathing recovery time and extubation time, waking time were significantly lower than control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion: sevoflurane for pediatric burn to maintain the effect is better than that of propofol anesthesia, is worth popularization in clinical application.
