The effects of 131I treatment after thyroidectomy on the serum P-Cadherin、CK-19 and MMP-9 in patients with thyroid papilary carcinoma
Objective:To explore the change of131I treatment after thyroidectomy on thyroid papilary carcinoma patients and the impacts on the expressions of P-Cadherin、CK-19 and MMP-9. Methods: 50 cases of thyroid papilary carcinoma patients with thyroid ful cut method, then131 I nuclide therapy after1 months, the concentrations of P-Cadherin、CK-19 and MMP-9 in serum were detected before and after therapy. Results: The thyroid papilary carcinoma group serum P-Cadherin、CK-19 and MMP-9 levels were higher than the healthy control group(P<0.01); and he levels of serum P-Cadherin ,CK-19 and MMP-9 in papilary thyroid carcinoma with lymph node metastasis were significant higher than without lymph node metastasis(al P<0.01);The serum level of P-Cadherin ,CK-19 and MMP-9 on thyroid papilary carcinoma patients with lymph node metastasis and without lymph node metastasis after treatment were lower than those before treatment(P<0.01), moreover, the serum level of P-Cadherin ,CK-19 and MMP-9 on lymph node metastasis group after treatment were more lower than those on without lymph node metastasis group (P<0.05).Conclusion:There may be a relevant between serum P-Cadherin ,CK-19,MMP-9 and the incidence of thyroid papilary carcinoma.131I treatment after thyroidectomy can significantly reduce the levels of P-Cadherin ,CK-19 and MMP-9 in thyroid papilary carcinoma patients, which may in order to achieve the purpose of early diagnosis and early prevention.
