Objective To observe the clinical efficacyof Tanreqing injectioncombined with antibiotics in the treatment ofsenile pneumonia. Method Division in 2010 February to 2011 March 48 cases of elderly patients with pneumonia were randomly divided into the treatment group 24 cases, control group 24 cases curative effect comparison Result The total effective r ate in treatment group was 96%, 83.33% in the control group, the difference was statisticaly significant (P<0.05).The treatment group the average defervescence time was 3.1 ± 0 .9 days, control group mean fever clearance time was 5.4 ± 1.3 days, the two groups had statistical significance difference (P<0.05).No adverse reactions were observed in two group s of patients.Conclusion Compared with the single use antibiotic efficacy of Tanreqing injection combined with antibiotics in the treatment of pneumonia in the elderly.
