Objective Etiology Study on 163 cases with acute respiratory tract infection caused by Adenovirus Methods The etiological tests of 163 pharynx swab specimen were performed by PCR to Adenovirus. Results 75 phargnx swab specimen turned to be adenovirus gene positive by polymerase chain reaction (75/163),Treated by antivirus after a week al 163 cases turned to negative .Conclusions This outbreak of acute respiratory tract infection in a military camp was caused by Adenovirus. Timly and reasonable preventing measures can control the epidemic quickly.
