Objective To investigate the effect of Meipikang in the prevention of pressure sore in total hip arthroplasty. Methods 60 patients with total hip replacement were randomly divided into observation group and control group of 30 cases. Conventional methods were used to prevent pressure sore in the control group , Meipikang was pasted in the part of the body which was prone to pressure sores in observation group that was used by conventional methods firstly, The incidence of pressure sores was observed in two groups after surgery. Results There was significant difference in the incidence of pressure sores between the two groups(P<0.05). Conclusions Meipikang can reduce the incidence of pressure sores when it was applied in total hip arthroplasty, So it is worthy of clinical application.
