Objective:To investigate the early nursing intervention on the treatment of amblyopia in children. Methods: Among 3 to 6-year-old children with amblyopia who are diagnosed by screening,we randomly selected 100 cases (144eyes) as the intervention group, and selected the out-patient treatment for children with amblyopia 100 cases (138) as the control group. The intervention group were treated with conventional treatment and system of nursing interventions (health education, psychological intervention, treatment guidance, tracking visit). The control group were treated by conventional treatment and care methods. We have folowed up these two groups for three years to find the curative effects by contrast.Result:In the intervention group compliance and curative effects was significantly higher (<0.5) than the control group,which was statisticaly significant.Conclusions: Early nursing intervention can effectively improve the compliance of patients and their parents on the treatment of amblyopia,it also can improve and consolidate amblyopia treatment.
